Timothy Barnes

Tim Barnes is a Colorado-based informal science educator with more than twenty-five years of experience at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). A U.S.Navy veteran and currently a Lafayette, CO, City Councilor, Tim holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado (1993) and certification as an interpretive guide (CGI). He has co-authored pieces for the American Meteorological Society Bulletin (BAMS) and delivered professional development in, consulted on, and received multiple awards in education.
